The 1950's had it all, sexy and elegant girls, some of the best looking cars ever built and rock and roll music. Most notably, Audrey Hepburn, the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado and Jerry Lee Lewis

Transgender fashion . High hair, ill shaped boxy clothes, shoulder pads, over sized glasses, short hair, wigs, fake eye lashes, makeup. Pl mention how transvestites hid due to fashion, fashion was a mask used to hide for transgenders n transvestite in Hollywood. Eg- Eyes of men dressed as women are wierd so they deliberately made it fashionable to over do eyes with lashes etc . This way when u saw a transvestite u think “she” is fashionable but not that it is a man in drag .

The resurgence of the wonderful boho style is thanks to the many festivals....and the A line dresses with peter pan or boat collars would work very well today if adapted to the right colours.

Ready to wear is not what it was when my queen Coco was in charge. We need a designer in today’s world and challenges to deliver. Prices need to be adjusted and styles too! You can’t buy and wear sequence in the morning or afternoon. Make it like it was then, affordable quality and comfort for women.

“New forms of government - more egalitarian …. “ and you show a picture of Lenin, the icon of a form of government- communism which would cause the death and torture of tens of millions? I hope this was an oversight. I was enjoying it.

Another fashionista though AMERICAN to me was MS MARILN MONROE! She had big blue cornflower eyes, blonde ( ok we know) wig or dyed blonde hair. One of MM fave designers was Pucci and Valentino.plus she …..could have worn a paper bag & looked fab! THEN THE KENNEDY DRESS WHICH I WAS BORN IN 1961 so I’m guessing …..GIVENCHY or Chanel or it was personally made for her? Love to know! If anyone does reply to me on this board! In her memory 🫶🏼🦋🦋🦋🦋🌹🌹🌹⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had beautiful dresses during the 50s. My mother made them, but both grandmothers were very good at making clothing. My mom copied dresses that were on models in Seventeen Magazine, made copies of expensive Lanz dresses and Pendleton skirts.
